New York, March 13, 2018 – Blackstone (NYSE: BX) and Rockpoint Group, L.L.C. (Rockpoint) announced today that Blackstone’s Strategic Capital Holdings Fund has acquired a passive, minority equity stake in Rockpoint, a Boston-based global real estate investment management firm. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Boston Public Schools Closed on Thursday as Second Winter Storm in a Week Arrives
BOSTON – Wednesday, March 7, 2018 – Mayor Martin J. Walsh today announced the City’s continued preparations for the winter storm, which is expected to bring 4 to 8 inches of heavy, wet snow with most snow accumulating after 8pm tonight and ending around 6am Thursday morning. A winter storm warning will be in effect until 1pm Thursday afternoon. Sustained winds of 10-20MPH are expected throughout the duration of the storm, with wind gusts up to 40MPH.
Boston Public Works helped cleanup streets in Quincy after the March 2 winder storm caused significant damage in Quincy.

Randolph Man Convicted for Trafficking Multiple Women for Sex in Greater Boston
Boston, Feb. 20, 2018 – A Randolph man has been convicted by a jury and sentenced to six to six-and-a-half years in state prison for trafficking multiple women for sex in Greater Boston and on Cape Cod, Attorney General Maura Healey announced today. He kept the money from the sexual encounters and would instead provide the women with drugs, primarily heroin.
