LA Lakers and East West Bank Partner with TreePeople for Trees For Threes
Los Angeles, Calif., April 5, 2016, — Staff and volunteers from East West Bank, TreePeople and Koreatown Youth and Community Center joined together on April 2 to plant street trees in the West Adams neighborhood of South Los Angeles. More than 100 volunteers participated, with expert staff on hand to ensure that the 30 trees are well planted. The newly planted trees matched trees that had been already planted in the area and are ideal for the narrow parkways of the neighborhood. Volunteers and staff will also care for trees that were recently planted in the area with watering, mulching and weeding.

Diana Hwang, Candidate for State Senate Hits the Airwaves
Boston, April 5, 2016, — In a move rarely seen in State Senate races, candidate Diana Hwang started airing a television commercial in the hotly contested race to replace Anthony Petruccelli who resigned earlier this year. The ad, which depicts Diana as a voice for seniors, workers and women, features Diana using the voice of a male retiree, a construction worker and an older woman working out. The message clearly conveyed is that whoever you are in the district, Diana will be a voice for you and your concerns.

Boston’s Sister City Hangzhou to Host 2016 G20 in September

Senator Warren Visits South Cove Community Health Center
