    ¿OISTE? PODER LATINO 2013 FUNDRAISER

¿Oíste? was founded in 1999  by several Latino activists from across the state who were concerned about the lack of Latino political representation and civic participation in Massachusetts. The mission is to advance the political, social and economic standing of Latinos and Latinas in the state.  ¿Oíste? believes that civic education, leadership development and civic engagement are pathways to fostering individual and community empowerment. Its programs help Latinos and Latinas to critically and civically engage in the life of their community, and to change systems and structures that have historically barricaded their access to quality education, health care, housing and economic development.
