Suzanne Lee Earns UAW and Right To The City Vote Boston Endorsements

Boston, October, 15, –Suzanne Lee, today, announced that the United Auto Workers (UAW) MA Region 9A, and Right To The City Vote Boston have endorsed her candidacy for Boston City Council District 2.

The UAW Region 9A is a regional local of the International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Workers of America, representing workers in virtually every sector of the economy.




Right To The City Vote Boston is a non-profit organization seeking to build the political power of marginalized communities by building strong working-class communities and using public land for the public good.

“We are proud to endorse Suzanne Lee because she is a proven leader on the issues that matter to residents in District 2,” said Gloriabelle Mota, a Boston political activist and Right To The City Vote member. “Suzanne knows what it takes to bring communities together and she is the best choice for residents who care about strong schools, good jobs, and affordable neighborhoods.”

The United Auto Workers Region 9A and Right to the City Vote Boston join SEIU Local 888, UNITE HERE Local 26, the Unite Here New England Joint Board, the Boston Plasterers’ and Cement Masons’ Local 534, Mass Alliance, the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus, the Sierra Club of MA, the Boston Wards 4 and 5 Democratic Committees and the Massachusetts Voters for Animals in endorsing Suzanne.

Suzanne Lee is running for Boston City Council District 2, which includes parts of South Boston, the South End, Chinatown, Leather District, Seaport, Downtown, Bay Village and Beacon Hill. The election is Tuesday, November 5th.
