Taiwan Film Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow? Opens in NYC & LA

New York City, Jan. 17, 2014, — Alvin Chen’s (陳駿霖) film from Taiwan opens in Los Angeles and New York today. It has already screened elsewhere in the US, and will open in Chicago and Seattle next week.

In this madcap and lighthearted comedic romp, introverted optometrist Weichung begins to question his marriage with his wife Feng, upon learning of her desire to have another baby. At his sister’s engagement party, Weichung bumps into an old friend, Stephen, a wedding photographer who, though also married, is living the high life of a younger, single gay man. When Stephen teases Weichung for his newly straightlaced lifestyle, dormant emotions are awakened in Weichung, setting him off on a quest for true romance and desire.

A schedule with links to show time in NYC is available here. Mai Nguyen reviewed the film for Asia Pacific Arts. She writes: “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow? follows Wei Chung (Richie Jen), a man who abandons his gay lifestyle for a more ‘normal’ one, marrying a woman and raising their son together. Their perfectly satisfactory lives are that of content routine, yet lacking the most important thing: true passion and happiness.”
