Lexington, Mass., Dec. 10, 2013 — It was about two years ago, Asian Cultural Center Greater Boston Asian American Youth Symphony Orchestra (GBAAYSO) had its debut performance at National Heritage Museum in Lexington. This Saturday, GBAAYSO will return to Lexington with a Christmas concert that features Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 2 at Lexington High School (LHS) auditorium.

Conductor Jie Yang mentioned expressed his gratitude for the support from local communities and Asian Cultural Center over past two years. “We want to make the Christmas concert a tradition of GBAAYSO. Our young musicians will use their talents to bring joy to the community at this wonderful time of the year,” said conductor Yang.
Members of GBAAYSO have been preparing and rehearsing for the Christmas concert over past few weeks. The performance will start at 7:30pm on Dec 14. The following is the program of the concert. |
