Emma Jones was born in Sydney, Australia, the oldest of 5 children of English Parents who moved to Australia for a 2 year adventure and who ended up staying for 15 years! At age 13 her family returned to West Sussex in England where she graduated high school.
Emma holds a BSc (Hons) in Industrial Business Systems from DeMontfort University in the UK and is Chartered Management Accountant. Before starting her family she worked for Xerox in Financial Planning and Analysis roles.
Emma has been married to Colin for 21 years. They have lived in Berkshire and Hampshire in the UK, and in the US have lived in Utah, TEXAS and most recently Massachusetts where they currently reside in Sudbury. They have 2 children – a boy called Samuel who is 15 years old, a girl called Ella who is 8 years old, 2 rabbits and the most recent addition to the family which is a dog called Flynn.
Emma’s daughter Ella was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at a very young age, one of the reasons Emma has decided to now be a stay at home mum. She is grateful for the learning of experiencing a child who sees and interacts with the world in different ways to most children her age.
When she is not caring for her family, Emma spends her time working in a voluntary position for her church where she leads a women’s organisation focused on providing social, educational and service oriented opportunities for the adult female members of the congregation. Emma is also an avid fitness enthusiast, loves all things technology, baking and reading whenever she gets the chance.
