Boston, April 22, 2013, — Family members of Lingzi Lu, who died from the Boston Marathon bombings on April 15, arrived at Logan airport at around 12:05 a.m. on April 20. Chinese ambassador to the United States Cui Tiankai was at the airport to greet the family members.

Ambassador Cui told reporters that the family members were exhausted both emotionally and physically, and they needed a couple of days resting.

On behalf of the Lu family, Boston University will hosts memorial service today for Lu Lingzi, who perished in the Patriots’ Day bombing near the finish line of the Boston Marathon. The service is open to the public but seating is limited.

The memorial service will be held at Metcalf Hall in the GSU. The address is 775 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts. Gov. Patrick will attend this memorial service.
In the mean time, the Malden Interfaith Association will be holding an Interfaith Peace Vigil this afternoon beginning at 6:00 PM in front of City Hall, 200 Pleasant Street and proceeding to the Malden Senior Center, 7 Washington Street.
Leaders from each of the major faith communities will participate in the Vigil to denounce the recent terrorist activities in the Greater Boston Area and to promote peace and healing.
