This camp is jointly organized by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of China and the College of Chinese Language and Culture of Jinan University in Guangzhou to promote Chinese culture, to help overseas Chinese teenagers better understand China, and to enhance their interests and enthusiasm of learning Chinese.

天使之星课后文化辅导中心（After School）本着服务于社区，为社区孩子提供丰富多样的课余活动为宗旨，寓教于乐，提高孩子学习兴趣，减轻家长辅导负担，周一至周五After School时间在Framingham设立了中文，数学，及其它文艺课程, 包括地区：Natick， Sudbury, Wayland, Southborough, Hopkinton…。
Framingham学校由老师将孩子从学校接到学习中心, 我们有从学校接孩子到这里的服务。
上课地点：1247 Worcester Rd， Framingham.1，中文班：分为初级，中级和高级班。主要采用斯坦福教育博士马立平的教材。初级班侧重于听和说，以中文儿歌为主，让孩子能够听懂中文，能开口说中文，以多听多说少读少写的方式提高孩子学习兴趣，只用写个别字的方式让孩子对中文字的基本结构有所了解。并辅以有中国文化背景的手工，让孩子更多地了解中国。学生以1-2年级为主。
中级班以听，说，读为主，除了日常用语，要让孩子能听懂一定的术语，比如能听懂较简单的科学和社会课程，能读少儿读物，写字仍然是作为帮助孩子记忆的辅助手段。并加大中国传统文化的熏陶，辅以科学小实验，让孩子更多地接触中文单词。学生以3-4年级为主。
高年级以读，写为主，并辅以大量的听说练习。阅读量相比初，中级班会有一个较大的增加，通过反复的阅读提高词汇量，加深对字的记忆。2，数学班，按每个年级分班，以加强基础训练为主。
3，文艺课程：声乐 ，韵律操，少儿模特等
为减轻孩子的学业负担，天使课后班不留家庭作业，所有的练习都在课上完成。课程安排每堂课45分钟，休息10分钟。帮助辅导高年级的孩子完成学校作业，减轻父母工作量。

Angel Performing Arts will have dance & Music workshops at Wlatham, Framingham, Acton and Sharon in this Summer break! The students will learn Chinese dances, Ballet, Jazz, Vocal Class, and Stage Performing Arts. The student has to be older than 4 years old.

【侨报周末特约记者李强波士顿图文报道】 3月16日晚，千余名莱克星顿镇居民在该镇高中体育馆参加了别具一格的“跳世界之舞”（Dance Around the World）晚会。居民们在教练的指导下，兴致勃勃地随着音乐跳起中国、印度、苏格兰、希腊、拉丁和以色列等国家的舞蹈，并且在体育馆外的大厅里得以品尝具有世界各地风味的美食。

First Art Exhibition by NAAA in Boston Chinatown Draws Rave Reviews

The first ever Chinese calligraphy and photography exhibition by North America Artist Association (NAAA) was held from March 9 to 12 at East West Bank in Boston Chinatown. The four-day exhibition drew thousands of spectators and rave reviews from professional artists and art enthusiasts alike.

汉语桥新英格兰区赛圆满结束 参赛大学生祝愿“中美友谊长青”
【侨报特约记者李强波士顿报道】由国家汉办主办、麻州大学孔子学院承办的第3届新英格兰地区大学生“汉语桥”中文演讲比赛，23日在麻州大学波士顿分校如期举行。18名选手经过4个多小时的紧张比赛，决出初级组和高级组的最后名次。黑龙江省教育国际交流中心的田春芳主任在大赛上宣布，为所有参赛选手提供到哈尔滨学习两周的奖学金。

Too much salt eating linked to millions of heart-related deaths worldwide: study
WASHINGTON, March 21 (Xinhua) — Eating too much salt contributed to 2.3 million deaths from heart attacks, strokes and other heart-related diseases throughout the world in 2010, representing 15 percent of all deaths due to these causes, according to a research finding presented Thursday at the American Heart Association’s scientific sessions.
