    Cambridge, November 7, — With less than ten days to go until the opening of the 2012 MIT CHIEF(China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum) on November 16, excitements are building for this exceptional event at MIT campus.   • 与时间赛跑的人陈俊翰做客NEACP三十五周年年会

    【侨报周末特约记者李强波士顿图文报道】主题为“台湾关怀：台湾心，美国情”的纽英伦中华专业人员协会（NEACP）第35届年会于10月27日在哈佛大学杰弗逊大厅举行。

    200多位与会者中有新英格兰地区的专业人士，也有许多来自各个院校的留学生。刚刚来美国两个多月，在哈佛大学法学院攻读法学硕士的陈俊翰在轮椅上作了本次年会的闭幕演讲。他的感人故事以及陈妈妈对儿子无微不至的关爱得到全体与会者的热烈掌声。

  • Firstever Tie in First-of-the-nation Dixville Notch Election: Obama and Romney Each Gets Five Votes

    The results of the first in the nation presidential election was made public on live TB at 3:05 AM on November 6, 2012 in Dixville Notch, NH. The voting started right after the midnight, and a total of 10 votes were recorded in this small precinct. Among the 10 votes, there were five independents, three Republicans and two democrats.

  • Owner of Sky Energy Trvael Agency in Boston Chinatown Indicted

    BOSTON, November 5, 2012 – A Chinatown travel agency owner has been indicted in connection with stealing more than $89,000 from multiple clients in schemes involving U.S. citizenship applications and airline tickets, Attorney General Martha Coakley announced today.

  • Results and Pictures from IFSM 2012 Boston Supermodel Contest Hosted by Eclipse Mass Media

    The IFSM 2012 Boston Contest hosted by Eclipse Mass Media (EMM) was successfully held at Royale Nightclub in the evening of Sunday, October 14, 2012.


    		The two major categories of the contest are Runway Model (for contestants 5-foot and 8-inch or taller) and Photo Model for other contestants. After four-rounds of intense competition, the winner of Runway Model: Jaeyoung Lee and winner of Photo Model: Jessica Graf stood on the runway with followers on their hands and big smiles on their faces. They thanked Eclipse Mass Media for providing such a wonderful opportunity to showcase their talents. Everyone in the audience applauded and cheered loudly.

  • Spared by Hurricane Sandy, Massachusetts Sends Fuel to New York and New Jersey

    Boston – November 5, 2012 – Governor Deval Patrick today announced that Massachusetts is helping to enable gasoline shipments to New York and New Jersey as those states and their residents recover from Hurricane Sandy. The announcement comes at the request of New York officials, and will facilitate the distribution of gas supply throughout the region.
