    【波士顿华双语网实习记者王晓晶、朱静书图文报道】过了春节，迎来春天，又一届大学毕业生开始了忙碌的求职阶段。3月1日，由纽英伦中华资讯网路协会主办的2014年职业宣讲及招聘会在麻省理工的Tang Center举办。活动邀请了来自科技，金融和法律三大行业的精英前来进行职业演讲和经验分享，给即将毕业的大学生们提供了一次难得的求职契机和行业精英对话。丰富的内容和专业的指导吸引了近百位即将面临毕业的大学生前来参与。

  • 感受乌干达精神——非洲加油

    2014年3月5日晚7点，冬日的校园早已落尽余辉，而美国麻州大学阿姆斯特（UMass-Amherst）艺术中心才刚迎来一群特殊的远方来客。黝黑的皮肤，强健的身躯，身背大鼓，腰着彩锦，处处都透露出他们的与众不同。这支来自乌干达的艺术团队从属于非盈利机构Empower African Children （EAC），由21位年纪从13至21岁的年轻人组成。

  • 反SCA-5重点攻关的民主党议员名单

    自从SCA-5通过加州参议院投票后，广大华人通过各种行动表达对法案的强烈不满，抗议活动如火如荼，抗议活动取得一定的成果，但是到目前为止 还没有一个民主党众议员公开表态反对。回顾一下历史，Proposition 209是由当时的共和党州长Peter Wilson推动而通过全民共投。近几年，民主党一直试图修改这个种族歧视禁令，很明显是想取得西裔，非裔以及其他一下少数族裔的选票。虽然上次的 SB185被州长Jerry Brown给否决了，民主党是死心塌地地试图推翻Proposition 209。大家参考一下这次SCA-5参议院27:9的投票结果，一眼就可以看出民主党和共和党有着泾渭分明的立场。除了几个没投票的，所有赞成票都是民主 党投的，而所有反对票都是共和党投的。

    我真是高兴2014年3月1日我终于去看了天使舞蹈团的《大梦敦煌》，这个四年前曾经上演过的大型民族舞剧。很多人都说，已经看过了，大概是差不多的吧？其实是大错特错，四年以后，进步非常多，改变的也非常多。

  • First Lady to Visit China after Festival of the Spring

    Boston, March 5, 2013, — According to a White House announcement on March 3, First Lady Michelle Obama is to pay a week-long visit to China starting on March 19. The First Lady will be visiting Beijing from March 20-23, Xi’an on March 24, and Chengdu from March 25-26.
