  • Mayor Wu Attends the First Large Banquet since the Pandemic @BostonChinatown

    Feb. 25, 2022, — Boston Chinatown Business Association(CBA)held the Chinese New Year banquet on March 23, 2022 at Empire Garden restaurant. Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, Boston City Council President Ed Flynn, State Rep Aaron Michlewitz and other government officials attended this banquet along with 400 guests. This is the first large gathering in Boston Chinatown in nearly two years.

    Ed Flynn presented a Boston City Council citation to CBA. Director-General Sun of TECO Boston congratulated CBA for the great achievement in promoting and revitalizing the Chinatown economy in his remarks.

  • Stilwell and China: A Hundred Years of Faith and Friendship

    Few Americans and Chinese today know the fame, glory and controversies of General Stilwell, who served as the Chief of Staff of Allied Forces in the China-Burma-India Theatre. As one of the most important yet controversial figures of WWII, General Stilwell left an intriguing legacy for historians to study and scrutinize. This essay, neither a judgment of General Stilwell’s military career nor a defense of him over his conflicts with other historical figures, is an honest review of his faith in and friendship with the common Chinese people.
