  • HCSSA Hosts Harvard China Day Celebrations

    Feb. 28, 2015, Cambridge, Mass., — Harvard Chinese Students and Scholars Association (HCSSA) presented an authentic Chinese cultural fest at the Science Center Plaza, the very heart of the Harvard campus On Friday, Feb. 27, between 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM. The 2015 Harvard China Day festivities included panda sculpture painting and a variety of traditional Spring Festival games. It is a great celebrating and interacting event for Harvard students to enjoy and appreciate Chinese culture.

  • Tonight, We Host Lunar New Year Gala!

    Susan: Good evening, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the 2015 New England Chinese-American Professionals New Year Gala. My name is Susan Qu, one of the 5 co-chairs on the gala organizing committee.
    Jian: My name is Jian Ni, I’m also one of the five co-chairs.

    Susan: Now we are celebrating the Chinese New Year of 2015. Saying farewell to the Year of the Horse, we welcome the arrival of the Year of the Goat. Now allow me to kick-off this gala with a New Year wish. We wish everyone here a happy, healthy, and successful new year.

  • URI Celebrates Chinese New Year of Goat

  • Chinatown Main Street Celebrates 20th Anniversary, Hosts Chinese New Year Cultural Village

    Boston, Feb. 20, 2015, — Chinatown Main Street (CMS) 20th Anniversary fundraising gala was recently held in Boston Chinatown. Over $30,000 donation was raised during the banquet and about 300 guests enjoyed an evening of fine dining and performances by local dance and Kung Fu groups.

    Feb. 19, 2014, Boston—The famous “Dr. Tea” was invited to attend the 241st Boston Tea Party Anniversary & Annual Reenactment presented by the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum and Boston’s famed Old South Meeting House recently. He was interviewed by the famous Fox News Reporter Bill Marcus on the spot. Bill Marcus called the interview as the “Interview with the very famous Dr. Tea”!

  • Tufts Medical Center Honored at Kwong Kow Chinese School Fundraising Gala

    Boston, Feb. 3, 2015, — Kwong Kow Chinese School(KKCS) held a fundraising dinner party at the Empire Garden Restaurant in Boston Chinatown recently. The theme of the party is “Heritage, Innovation, and Responsibility.” Nearly 500 people attended the party and donated. KKCS collected about $180,000 for their future development. Boston City Councilor-At-Large Michelle Wu, a volunteer at KKCS years ago, congratulated the achievements by the its teachers and students.

  • Celebrating Chinese New Year at Cary Memorial Library

    In the morning of Jan. 24, I was debating whether I wanted to go to Chinese American Association of Lexington’s (CAAL) Chinese New Year celebration or not. The ride decided for me as I could not change the time. I’m glad that I did. I probably was among the very first ones getting there. They were still trying to set up the place.
