Dr. Tea to Lecture at GBCCA on May 31

Dr. Tea, founder of Mylovetea(www.mylovetea.com), will give a lecture at the end of May on “Dr. Teas in History,” a tea world that has been resonating to every corner on earth throughout ages, filled with many tea lovers like him. Poet Yu Li will also read a few of his poems at the same lecture. The lecture is orgnized by the Yiwen Club of Great Boston Chinese Culture Association(GBCCA).

Chinese Americans Rally in Front of MA State House in Support of NYPD Officer Liang

Boston, April 27, 2015, — Dozens of Chinese Americans rallied in front of MA State House Sunday afternoon to protest serious charges filed against NYPD Officer Peter Liang after he accidentally shot a Black man Akai Gurley dead in a NYC housing project. Rookie Officer Liang was indicted with second degree homocide along with other serious charges on Feb. 12, 2015.

Pictures from ACLS Chinese New Year Celebrations

Acton, Mass., March 5, 2015, — The Acton Chinese Language School (ACLS) hosted Chinese New Year celebration on March 1 from 3:30 to 8:30 PM at the Acton Boxborough Regional High School. Over 1,000 students, teachers, parents and guests showed up for the cultural events in the afternoon and evening gala performances that featured traditional singing, dancing and musical instruments.

Lunar New Year Gala Showcases Leadership by Women Professionals

Boston, March 3, 2015, — The New England Chinese Professionals 2015 Lunar New Year Gala and Community Forum were held at Boston Marriott in Newton, Mass. recently. Close to 1,000 members of the 16 professional associations, guests and visitors participated in the day-long event despite snowy weather, and witnessed the confident leadership by women professionals who played leading roles in putting together this year’s event.
