Dr. Robert Wu and Mrs. Amy Wu hosted a wonderful Christmad Party in Weston. Mass. on Dec. 22, 2018. About 200 guests enjoyed a joyful evening of performances, delicious food, and even a fashion show by Yuqing Fashion School. Mr. and Mrs. Wu wished all the guests a healthy and prosperous 2019.

I would not be here were it not for those Chinese immigrants who escaped famine and came to America for opportunity — building the Transcontinental Railroad. My name is Wilson Lee. I am 5th generation, Chinese American. A descendant of Transcontinental Railroad workers.
CAHF will sponsor the “Harmony Through Union” float at the upcoming 2019 Rose Parade on Jan. 1, 2019 to honor immigrants who completed the US Transcontinental Railroad 150 years ago.

The Boston Chinese soccer charity tournament will be held from October 6, 2018 to October 21 2018 in Acton, MA. Over the past decades, many Chinese immigrants have been blessed to be welcome into greater Boston area. We settle down and thrive. Some of us are even playing in Division 1 over the hill soccer league (OTHSL.org). We have been taking a lot from Bostonian. Now is the time for us to give back!

Good evening
It’s a honor to meet you all here at Harvard University to exchange our ideas and discuss about meaningful topics. Being part of a think tank, lately I received the same question many times: what happened to this world? Why do I feel constantly anxious and nervous? My answer is that the world is changing, unprecedentedly in its speed, depth and range. Then their follow-up question would be, then is the world changing for better or worse? I’ll look into their eyes and tell them: it depends on you, your dreams and your actions.

Boston, August 3, 2018, — Mayor Martin Walsh today announced that he will join Boston Police Superintendent in Chief William Gross, who is set to be sworn in as Police Commissioner on Monday, elected officials, community leaders, clery and residents for the 35th Annual National Night Out celebrations in the City of Boston. The events are focused on celebrating and raising awareness of community policing throughout the City.

Boston, July 10, 2018, — Miss International Fashion Travel Pageant Boston regional final was held at the Empire Garden Restaurant in Boston Chinatown on July 7. Ten contestants showed their wisdom and beauty to nearly 500 guests in the Qipao, swimsuit and self-introduction, talent show, and Q&A in evening gowns during the contest.

Boston, April 11, 2018 — The Boston Chinatown Lions Club held its annual “Installation of Officers Dinner” on the evening of June 8. In the heart of Chinatown, at the Empire Garden Restaurant, about 150 members and guests of the Lions Club met to swear in new members, dedicate a new staff of leadership positions and celebrate yet another year of continued humanitarian efforts.
