NAAAP Boston to Host Second Leadership Forum on Sept. 14

The National Association of Asian American Professionals Boston chapter (NAAAP Boston) will hold its Second Annual Leadership Forum on Saturday, September 14, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in Hilton Back Bay at 40 Dalton Street.




With the success of last year’s inaugural event, NAAAP Boston was honored with the “Chapter Excellent Programming Award”, which recognized the Leadership Forum as the best program throughout all the NAAAP chapters extending across North America. The Corporate Relations Committee will continue this new tradition with the Second Annual Leadership Forum, which includes expanded professional development and networking opportunities. The Leadership Forum will feature a keynote speech on “Leadership Styles for Professional Development,” a panel presentation on “Awakening the Leader in You,” a Career and Informational Fair of 15-20 companies, and networking opportunities.

Flora Sah, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at State Street Corporation, will offer the keynote speech on “Leadership Styles for Professional Development.” Senior executives from leading companies will also share their personal career stories of “Awakening the Leader in You” at the panel discussion. This year’s panelists are: Su Joun, Director of Talent, Inclusion & Mobility at Blue Cross Blue Shield; Roger Young, VP of Human Resources & Chief Diversity Officer at National Grid; Yek Cheng, Vice President & Actuary, Corporate Finance at MassMutual Financial Group; and Raymond Han, Managing Director at Accenture.

In addition, attendees will find great job opportunities at the Career Fair among the NAAAP Boston sponsors and partners. Career Fair participants include Accenture, EMC
