Join Us for the Panel Presentation
For the 2012 inauguration of NAAAP Boston’s Leadership Forum, we have developed a motivating and enlightening theme for the panel discussion: “Mirroring Our Blind Spots: Actions to Share Your Career.” With senior executives from leading companies serving on the panel, the objective is to inspire you towards becoming better leaders through the reflection of the critical turning points in his or her own professional careers. By realizing and understanding one’s own blind spots, it can help maximize one’s leadership potential and capability. |
“Mirroring Our Blind Spots: Actions to Shape Your Career”
Do you know that overusing your key strength can also be your weakness? Are you aware of how you are being perceived by others? This weakness or perception might have played a factor in delaying or meeting your professional goals.
A blind spot can be an unfavorable perception, weakness, or even a key strength. While reflecting upon our professional career, we might become self-aware of our own blind spots that have triggered us to take actions to shape our careers and meet our professional goals. Attend this insightful presentation to learn practical and achievable steps from our successful panelists on how they have become self-aware of their
own blind spots, and ultimately overcoming the barriers to unlock their full leadership potential.

1. What is an unexpected event that occurred in your professional life that made you realize a “blind spot” – an unfavorable perception, weakness, or even a key strength that was holding you back in achieving your professional goals?
2. At that critical turning point or event, what action did you take, either strategically planned or possibly spontaneous, that helped you overcome this blind spot to achieve your professional goals?
3. How did this action and personal leadership development help shape your career and lead you to your current success?
