    【新英格兰汉语教师协会供稿】当地时间2013年10月5日，第二届新英格兰地区汉语教师协会（NECLTA）在罗德岛大学孔子学院举办。林游岚博士获得NECLTA终身成就奖。该奖项由罗德岛大学孔子学院院长、NECLTA会长何文潮博士颁发。林博士今年从波士顿公立学校退休。参加年会的教师们纷纷表达了他们对林博士的真诚感谢和赞赏。

  • The First-ever Taiwan IDEAS Day Boston Brings Brilliant Ideas

    Cambridge, Mass., October 18, 2013 — The first-ever Taiwan IDEADS Day Boston was held at Cambridge Innovation Center on October 17. Founders of eight start-up teams of Taiwanese origin delivered their pitches for an audience of investors, mentors and members of Boston’s start-up community who packed the conference room.

  • YES 8.0 and Marketing Workshop, A Busy Month at NECINA

    Boston, October, 17, 2013, –On Saturday, October 19 (9AM-5PM), the kickoff session of New England Chinese Information and Networking Association (NECINA) Marketing Workshop will be held at Cambridge Innovation Center at One Broadway in Cambridge. A couple weeks earlier, the Youth Entrepreneurship Service (YES) 8.0 had kick off session at the same building, with over 30 students in attendance.

  • 絲竹春吟音樂會 美不勝收的文化盛會

    【波士頓華人雙語網特約記者李心茗報導】「絲竹春吟」第六屆青少年中國器樂音樂會，10月12日晚在波士頓第一教堂舉行，百余名觀眾一同感受到波士頓地區青少年民樂人才倍出。本次音樂會由中華表演藝術基金會主辦，參演者為第六屆青少年中國器樂比賽的獲獎選手。而嗩呐大師郭雅志同夫人何濤的壓軸戲：嗩呐二胡合奏「百鳥朝鳳」更是讓這些年輕的表演者體驗到中國民族樂器的魅力。

  • Dr. Yu-lan Lin Receives NECLTA’s Lifetime Achievement Award

    Rode Island, October 9, 2013, — At the second annual meeting of NECLTA on Oct. 5 at URI Confucius Institute, Dr. Yu-lan Lin received the NECLTA’s Lifetime Achievement Award from president Wenchao He. Dr. Lin has retired from Boston Public Schools this year. Many teachers at the annual meeting took the opportunity to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Lin for her tireless dedication to the field. Dr. Lin is a founding board member of NECLTA.

  • 新英格兰地区汉语教师协会第二届年会成功举行

    【波士顿华人双语网讯】10月5日星期六，在罗德岛大学金士顿校区顺利召开了新英格兰地区汉语教师协会（NECLTA）的第二届年会，本届会议由罗德岛大学孔子学院和麻州大学波士顿孔子学院共同赞助，由罗德岛大学孔子学院承办。来自新英格兰地区的近百名大中小学汉语教师赶到这里，参加了年会。

  • Beautiful October, CelebrAsians: Cancer Walk on the Runway!

    Boston, October 11, 2013, –Established less than a year ago, Asian Women For Health(AWFH) hosted CelebrAsians: Cancer Walk on the Runway! fashion show in the evening of October 4 at Dance Union in Somerville. Eighteen cancer survivors, including one man, showed off their beautiful dresses by four designers and confident smiles on their faces on the runway.

  • 美麗的十月 癌症康復者波城時裝秀

    【波士頓華人雙語網綜合報道】由成立不到一年的亞裔婦女健康會（Asian Women for Health）主辦的Cancer Walk on the Runway！時裝秀10月4日在波士頓以北的森默維爾市一家餐廳舉行。十多位亞裔癌症康復者（包括一位男士）身着四位設計師的服裝向大家展示了他們健康美麗的身影。波士頓市長曼寧諾和森默維爾市長科塔頓（Joseph Curtatone）為本次時裝秀送來嘉獎狀。
