    爸爸的姐姐（右）是妈妈（左）的嫂子。父母家族的联姻史还可以追溯到上一辈甚至更早，但是他们保持了没有血亲联姻的传统，其中妈妈家的儿子娶了爸爸家女儿的居多，妈妈恰恰是反例。

  • 儿女戴上博士帽 献父亲节大礼

    【侨报周末特约记者李强波士顿报道】 6月16日是今年的父亲节，对于亚美联谊会（Asian American Association of Boston）的董事司徒秉权（John Szeto）先生来说，他已经提前得到了父亲节的礼物。5月份，女儿司徒奇莲（Kaylene Szeto）从麻州医药大学毕业并获得药学博士学位，儿子司徒启伦（Kylan Szeto）也从康奈尔大学顺利毕业并获得了应用物理工程博士学位。

  • OCEAN举办第13期MBA班毕业典礼

    【侨报周末特约记者李强波士顿报道】留美华人企业家协会（OCEAN）于5月25日假麻省理工学院举行了第13期MBA班毕业典礼。数10位MBA班学员在40多位亲友和来宾的掌声中领取了MBA班结业证，结束了过去10多个星期六的紧张培训。

  • Picture Perfect: The Embroidery Girl Debuts in Boston

    Boston, May 29, 2013, — Imagine you have worked so hard for months to put together a grand dance show that features dozens professional dancers from China. When the show time finally came and ended with thunderous applause by a sold out audience at Boston’s John Hancock Hall, how proud and relieved you would feel. You could see it from the smiling face of Ke Ke, artistic director of Angel Dance Company, at end of the show in the evening of May 26.

    MRS. OBAMA: (Applause.) My goodness. Yes. Thank you so much. Rest yourselves because I want you working hard for Ed. (Laughter.) So I don’t want you to wear yourself out here.

    Let me start by thanking our dear friend Ed for that very, very kind introduction. I think he should say that again with my husband here in the room. (Laughter.) But more importantly, for being such a passionate champion of families right here in Massachusetts.
