Cambridge, Mass., January 19, 2019, New England Association of Chinese Professionals (NEACP) invited Ching-Cheng (James) Hou to deliver a speech “Bio-Pharm Companies’ Winning Strategy in China from the Perspective of Intellectual Property” at Cambridge Innovation Center today. This is a full-house event, attracted about thirty people in 18 seating conference room; and the event attracted different backgrounds, MD, entrepreneurs, Phd. Students, professors and government officials, etc. Yafen Kang, VP and Professor Chung Hwa, Board members, of NEACP attended the event. Dr. Yu-Feng Wei is the moderator of the event.

Boston Choreographer Yaqi Wu’s “Fountainhead” Dance Won Multiple Awards

Boston, Jan. 18, 2019, — In less then two years after arriving in the United States in 2017, Chinese dancer and choreographer Yaqi Wu has gained more and more recognition from dance critics and audiences in Boston and New York. Her original dance work “Fountainhead” has won three important awards, including Judge’s Choice, Outstanding Choreography Award and Platinum Award, at the 2018 Taoli World Dance Competition Final, the largest Chinese dance competition in the world.

Over 150 Asian American Orgs Jointly File Amicus Brief Opposing Harvard’s Discriminatory Admissions Practices

On July 30, 2018, representing 156 Asian American organizations, Asian American Coalition for Education (AACE), in collaboration with Asian American Legal Foundation (AALF), filed an Amicus Brief with the United States District Court in Boston to oppose Harvard University’s discriminatory admissions practices and to support the plaintiff (Students for Fair Admissions, SFFA) in its lawsuit against Harvard University.
