Acton, Mass., Feb. 10, 2014, — The Acton Chinese Language School (ACLS) hosted a day-long Chinese New Year Celebration gala on Saturday, Feb. 1 at the RJ Grey Junior High School. Close to 1,000 ACLS teachers, students, parents and local residents attended this annual event.

欢腾的开场舞《红红火火大拜年》将2000多名观众带入春节的喜悦气氛。随后，杨洪基的《滚滚长江东逝水》、董文华的《春天的故事》、蔡国庆的《三百六十五里路》等脍炙人口的歌曲和南京前线歌舞团的《小城雨巷》等经典舞蹈，为侨胞们奉献一场精彩的视听享受。

Boston, Feb. 9, 2014, — It was a cold day this morning in Boston. Thousands of residents and tourists still showed up for today’s Lion Dance Parade in Boston Chinatown. They were delighted with lion dances by dozens of dancers from various teams to the loud drum beats and firecrackers.

【波士顿双语网2014年2月综合报道】今年年初，文革初期红卫兵标志性人物宋彬彬回到母校向当年的老师和他们的亲属道歉而引起媒体对那段历史的关注，而她的名字“彬彬”则可能是引发大规模文革武斗悲剧的原因之一。1966年8月18日毛泽东在天安门城楼上检阅全国红卫兵，并对给他戴上红卫兵袖章的学生领袖宋彬彬说：“不要彬彬‘要武嘛’！” 《光明日报》两天后发表署名宋要武的文章《我给毛主席戴上了红袖章》，之后由《人民日报》转载，从此引发了文革第一轮武斗和抄家狂潮，从北京蔓延至全国，史称“红色恐怖八月”。宋彬彬47年之后的道歉对于文革武斗受害者和他们的家属来说是苍白无力的，但是这次道歉如果能够让大家记住惨痛的历史教训，让这样的历史悲剧永远不要再发生，也是一件好事。
本篇报道中的重庆沙坪公园红卫兵墓群是中国仅存的红卫兵文革武斗公墓。该墓地位于重庆市沙坪公园位西南角、人工湖岸的缓坡的一块墓地（紧邻一座1990年重建的天主教堂），是中国仅存一座基本保存完好的文革武斗墓群，目前不对外开放。高约三至六公尺不等的块石叠砌而成的灰墙，把墓园大致围成船形；墓园西高东低，形成几级梯形台地；墓园占地约3000平方米左右（约合4.5亩）。墓群坐西朝东，寄寓着墓主永远“心向红太阳”的拳拳之意。

Boston, Feb. 9, 2014, -– On Saturday, more than 50 activists gathered at the Chinatown Gate to assert the right of Chinatown residents to remain, reclaim, and rebuild their community. “Chinatown has been here for 150 years and the residents helped build this into a vibrant neighborhood. Now residents are being pushed out, because they can no longer afford to live here,” said Kim Situ of the Chinese Progressive Association.
